HI! I’m Kristin.
Whether you’re a disenchanted Christian, someone who loves God but is fed up with his people, or a Jesus follower looking for hope to keep going, I’m pulling out a chair for you. You’re not just tolerated at my table, you’re valued.
You don’t have to agree with me to be with me. If you’re willing to listen, learn and aren’t precious about laughing when it comes to faith, you’re in the right spot.
it’s time to ditch certainty and embrace
the unexpected
I’ve heard from a lot of people that they feel frustrated, confused and even a little scared about what it means to follow Jesus these days. Maybe you can relate…
-
Like that pair of skinny jeans at the bottom of your drawer, you’re trying to squeeze into a faith that is too restrictive (and out of date).
-
Your go-to verses for living righteously and determining right from wrong no longer hold up in context.
-
You love God and Jesus but you’d rather not be associated with some of His people.
Luckily there really is more than one way to be a Christian…
ABOUT
I’m Kristin, an unexpected pastor who deconstructed her way into ministry.
kristin has faced the unexpected shuffle of unlearning and relearning everything she’d been certain of for years.
Kristin knows how it feels to ask questions without answers. She has navigated heartbreak from people she thought would be in her life forever who chose to cut and run when they didn’t understand her evolving faith. She has faced criticism and scrutiny as a female pastor.
And she would do it all again to help other people find freedom.
FIND FREEDOM ON
THE OTHER SIDE OF CERTAINTY
After hanging out with me, you’ll know how to:
-
01. Question Your Beliefs.
Before you can grow in your faith, you have to know what you know and why you believe it to be true. (Because someone of importance said so is no longer a good enough reason.)
-
02. Get Comfy Being Uncomfy.
God didn’t promise answers. (If He wanted us to know things definitively, He would’ve been actually clear in scripture.) But you don’t have to fear the unknown.
-
03. Look More Like Jesus
When you truly grasp the love of Jesus, you no longer live for yourself. (But you don’t just live for Him either.) It’s time to break out of the bubble.

What it really means to be salt and light (not salty and lit) while we live in the world that we’re very much a part of.

Presenting a new way of understanding the Bible, not as a clear guidebook for life but as a library full of various genres. (And how that completely changes how we read it.)

Mary Mags, Phoebe, Jael, Deborah, even Eve. There are women in scripture whose stories aren’t told. I love to tell them and show you how they’re relevant today.
